Oh my gosh... I miss him already! The thought of him staying in camp for a week. Sucks.
He have a 20% chance of booking out today. I hope he will.. I'm so not used to not having him around me. His presence is so comforting to me. Yup, that's my love!
Anyway, I'm the library waiting for him. He's booking out!! Meeting me. Woohoo!!
It's a new year which means new beginning , with new experiences to come. 05 January 2008 would be what I would call a fresh new experience for me. Why?
That's because it is the Youth PAP Recruitment Event held at the Singapore Museum.. Me, Ain and Shikin, we were invited by our facilitator from school, Loga, to sing for the event. So I played the guitar and sing with the rest of them. We call ourseles, Pearls and Gems..Hhaha. How cool is that.
The professional musician said that we sounded very expensive. Haha.. Duh! Who wants to sound cheap rite??
We were very God-Damn nervous during the run through that my legs were shaking like vigorously that the bar stool actually shook. Haha.. Imagine the chaos there! I felt like giving up and just leave that place until i called Mimi. He told me not to make a fool of myself and that everyone have their first times. Those were what i needed to hear. After hanging up the phne, i felt so much better.
When the time comes for us to perform, i didn't feel scared, nervous or even shy. We did what we had to, had our fun and enjoyed the whole evening after that. Mission accomplished!
Anyways, the professionals gave us alot of helpful and encouraging advice. Told us to carry on singing as a trio and perhaps do some freelance singing.
As for me, they told me not to stop playing the guitar. Hahaaha... We'll see about that.
