I'm finally like, 23! I'm happy but at the same time, afraid to grow any older. *sob sob*
"Can I stop growing please, and I promise I'll be good." .... like as if it'll ever happen! Dream on.
Anyway, I didn't feel like celebrating it this year cos I just didn't have the mood to. It's just like any other day. Nothing special. It's just a mark of the day you add the numeral 1 to your age. That's ALL. There's probably a deeper meaning to it too, but other than that, I don't see a need to actually celebrate.
Mimi asked me what I wanted for my birthday. I didn't know what I want, cos for the past few months, I've been so absorbed with other more important stuffs that needed my attention more than anything else. Having no time to shop any more, I simply don't know what I want. I guess it's time for Mimi and me to focus on out prep. It seems long but 2 years is just a blink of an eye. Therefore, we try to save as much as possible...for our BIG day.
Therefore, I told Mimi, I didn't want anything from him except for us to focus and do what's needed of us.
Reasoning out with him was difficult, I've to admit. He insisted to buy me a present. But I just won't budge. I don't want anything! My friends asked me to ask for an all-paid-for shopping spree. But for what, even when it's not my birthday, I still got an all-paid-for shopping spree. HAHA.. Sorry gals, but it's a fact. Oops!
Anyhows, I just didn't want anything. Period.
On eve of birthday (Wednesday), met up with Su, Jannah, Bed and P & G to celebrate Su's birthday (which happens to be a day earlier).. Went to Tong Seng, they had their usual, and I, on the other hand, decided to have a change of taste. HEhe.. Therefore ordering something else, which tastes good by the way. After which, we went for sheesha at Al-Majlis.. Had so much fun with the girls. Then they bought ice-cream for both Su and me. Oh, how sweet. Thanks babe!
